Harden is an attractive village in rural Bradford, West Yorkshire, surrounded by woods and fields, situated just over a mile north of Bingley in an open valley at the crossroads of the Bingley to Cullingworth B6429 road and the unclassified road from Wilsden to Keighley. The valley is open with well kept farm land and the valley sides are wooded.
Harden Beck flows through a narrow, steep sided ghyll known as Goit Stock alongside the village. This whole delightful setting is within the Green Belt.
Harden is home to two churches, Harden Congregational and Anglican, and Harden Primary School. There is a Post Office, a pharmacy, an independent butcher's, a hairdresser, a village food store, a garden centre and a public house.
Harden Memorial Hall, owned by Bradford Council, is used by the community and is home to Harden Pre School, After school Club, Toddler Group and Youth Club.
